FOUNDER, CEO, & DESIGN DIRECTOR

Kristen has been a "wearer of many hats" throughout her whole career. As the leader of Planet B, you can find her making products in the studio, updating the website, designing a new beeswax wrap print, selling at markets, and much more! Kristen brings creativity to anything she tries - and she tries A LOT! From gardening and beekeeping, to sewing, painting, and woodwork, she spends her free time trying new hobbies and snuggling with her many pets...

DIVISION PRESIDENT & MAKER - PLANET B PET

We’re thrilled to have Seth leading the charge on our new sustainable pet line, Planet B Pet! A lifelong animal lover and eco-enthusiast, he earned his Eagle Scout rank with a lake cleanup and park build-out, and later a PhD in Environmental Chemistry—so yes, he really walks the walk.

Seth first dreamed up Planet B Pet while creating stylish, earth-friendly solutions for his own pets at home… and when he ran out of room, decided to turn the idea into something bigger. Married to Kristen, he has been Planet B's biggest cheerleader since the beginning, and we are so excited for him to take on this role and play an even bigger part in growing Planet B.

When he’s not in the woodshop, you’ll find Seth hiking, kayaking, or doing anything he can to get outside!

PACKAGING SPECIALIST

Mary Ellen is Kristen's mom and has been helping out with Planet B since the beginning. She is responsible for making sure all of our products are packaged neatly and ready to be sold, as well as leading the charge to collect paper towel tubes and otherwise landfill-bound items we upcycle. When she is not at the Planet B studio, she is teaching preschool or spending time with one of her many friends or other family members.

STUDIO ASSISTANT

Ann is a longtime Roxbury resident, recycler, upcycler and crafter who shares a passion for sustainability with the rest of us at Planet B.  She helps cut, sew, and package all your favorite Planet B products. She enjoys time with her family, friends and staying active in the community.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Morgan is a long time Planet B supporter and employee, starting out as our Studio Assistant, and after giving birth to her son, taking on a work from home role helping with the production of fan favorites like our cat toys and cotton rounds. When Morgan noticed that social media had been largely ignored by Kristen, she took that on as well! When Morgan isn't working on Planet B projects, she's making something from scratch, working on a sewing project of her own, thrifting, or in her home pottery studio.
