Renew your Beeswax Wrap or make your own from upcycled cotton fabric!

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Planet B Beeswax Wrap Refresher

  • Baking sheet large enough to fit your wrap(s)

  • Parchment paper

  • Paintbrush (we recommend one that’s about 1” wide)

  • Conventional Oven

  • Double boiler or microwave safe container for melting

  • Step 1

If you are making your own beeswax wrap, cut fabric to size with pinking shears.

  • Step 2

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay your fabric from Step 1 or your already made beeswax wrap that is in need of refreshing on the parchment paper.

  • Step 3

Melt Beeswax Wrap Refresher blocks in a double boiler. If you do not have a double boiler, you can use a microwave save container. Each package contains enough to refresh one of our Starter Sets.

  • Step 4

Once the Beeswax Wrap Refresher is fully melted, use a paint brush to spread it evenly over the wrap.

  • Step 5

Place baking sheet in the oven for 1 minute. When you remove it, the surface of the fabric should appear wet.

  • Step 6

Use your paintbrush to spread out the Beeswax Wrap Refresher on the surface of the wrap. While it is still damp (but not dripping), remove the wrap from the parchment paper and hang to dry. It will take about 1-2 minutes to fully set.
