Kristen Carle
FOUNDER, CEO, & DESIGN DIRECTOR
Kristen has been a “wearer of many hats” throughout her whole career. As the leader of Planet B, you can find her making products in the studio, updating the website, designing a new beeswax wrap print, selling at markets, and much more! Kristen brings creativity into anything she tries - and she tries a LOT! From gardening and beekeeping, to sewing, painting, and woodwork, she spends her free time trying new hobbies and snuggling with her many pets…

Seth Brittle
CO-FOUNDER & WOODSHOP MANAGER
Seth has his PhD in Environmental Chemistry and lends his expertise not only in the woodshop, but also in formulating Planet B’s line of personal care products. Seth and Kristen met in college and have been inseparable ever since (they’re married). They tackle every new adventure together and never back down from a challenge! Seth enjoys hiking, kayaking, woodworking, and finding any way to be outside and/or build something.

Mary Ellen Carle
PACKAGING SPECIALIST
Mary Ellen is Kristen’s mom and has been helping out with Planet B since the beginning. She is responsible for making sure all of our products are packaged neatly and are ready to be sold, as well as leading the charge to collect paper towel tubes and other otherwise landfill-bound items we upcycle. When she is not at the Planet B studio, she is teaching preschool or spending time with one of the many other members of her family.
-
Helen ReFalo
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Helen brings a wealth of social media knowledge to the Planet B team. She joined instagram in its initial year and has been learning the ins and outs as social media grows ever more present in day to day life. She aims to help Planet B spread their message farther across the nation and bring more people into the sustainability fold.

Harley McMahon
MARKET SALES ASSOCIATE
Harley is a self-described nature girl who loves to advocate for the Earth and self. You may have seen her at Simple Bare Necessities (refill store in Sparta, NJ) or at a community event. She loves connecting with like minded people, so stop by and say hi at a market event. When she is not at market fairs, she is either at the local studio Thrive or grounding in nature. She hopes you join her in a deep breath as we walk on this new journey together.
